Job summary

Placements24 invites applications for a Resort Activities Coordinator at a coastal Richards Bay resort in KwaZulu-Natal. You will design and run engaging daily and weekly guest activities, from sports to cultural events, ensuring memorable experiences for guests of all ages.

You will coordinate with F&B, housekeeping and maintenance to deliver smooth programs, manage equipment and venues, and gather guest feedback to improve offerings.

Qualifications

About the Role

Our client, a picturesque resort destination in Richards Bay , is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Resort Activities Coordinator to design and implement engaging recreational programs for guests of all ages. You will be responsible for developing a diverse calendar of events, managing activity logistics, and ensuring a memorable and enjoyable experience for every visitor. This role is key to enhancing guest satisfaction and contributing to the vibrant atmosphere of the resort, situated in the beautiful KwaZulu-Natal province. The ideal candidate is energetic, personable, and adept at event planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute a variety of daily and weekly resort activities, including sports, games, entertainment, and cultural events.
• Coordinate with various resort departments (e.g., F&B, housekeeping, maintenance) to ensure smooth delivery of all activities.
• Manage activity supplies, equipment, and venue setups, ensuring safety and availability.
• Engage with guests, promote upcoming activities, and provide information about resort offerings.
• Gather guest feedback to continuously improve the activity programs and overall guest experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience in event planning , recreation coordination, or a similar role, preferably within the hospitality or tourism industry.
