Job summary

Wild Dreams Hospitality in South Africa seeks a polished reservations professional to deliver a seamless guest experience from first contact to arrival. You will manage inquiries, process bookings, and keep systems current in a live-in setting.

Ideal candidates will have luxury reservations experience, strong system knowledge, and exceptional communication. The role requires ability to work a live-in schedule, with a 6/2 day cycle and a provident fund in place.

  • Proven experience in a reservations role within luxury hospitality.
  • Strong knowledge of reservations systems and booking platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with a warm, professional manner.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in processing bookings and guest comms.
  • Ability to manage multiple bookings and enquiries simultaneously under pressure.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Guest-focused with a personalised and professional experience from first contact.
  • Computer literate with solid Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all incoming reservations enquiries across channels (email, phone, online platforms).
  • Process bookings accurately and issue confirmations and pro forma invoices.
  • Maintain an up-to-date reservations system at all times.
  • Communicate guest preferences and arrival details to relevant departments.
  • Handle amendments, cancellations, and no-shows per property policies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with agents, operators and direct guests.
  • Prepare occupancy and reservations reports (daily/weekly/monthly).
  • Support the wider operations team with admin tasks as required.
  • Ensure guest correspondence is professional and brand-aligned.
