• Logistics Coordination: arrange and upsell road and air transfers for guests.
• Client & Agent Relations: respond to inquiries quickly and maintain relationships with global travel partners.

A premier safari operator based in South Africa is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Reservationist to join our team on a full-time basis.

In this role, you will focus entirely on crafting seamless itineraries, managing bookings, and upselling experiences daily. There are no operational property duties—your sole focus is driving reservations and providing world-class guest service from your desk.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Booking Management: Handle end-to-end accommodation bookings accurately using the InnKeeper property management system.
• Experience Enhancement: Proactively sell and coordinate safari activities, excursions, and guided experiences.
• Logistics Coordination: Arrange and upsell road and air transfers to ensure a smooth, end-to-end travel experience for guests.
• Client & Agent Relations: Respond to inquiries swiftly and professionally, maintaining strong relationships with global travel agents and direct guests.

Requirements

• System Expertise: Proven experience working with InnKeeper is essential.
• Industry Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of high-level reservations experience within the luxury safari, lodge, or inbound travel industry.
• Sales-Driven Mindset: Excellent ability to upsell activities, transfers, and extensions naturally.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to manage complex logistics, multi-property bookings, and tight timelines with absolute precision.
