About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Renewable Energy Project Manager specializing in solar projects to join their globally distributed team. This role is pivotal in managing the full lifecycle of solar energy initiatives, from conception and planning through to execution and handover, all within a remote-first operational framework. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, working collaboratively with international teams and stakeholders. This position offers the unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the expansion of renewable energy infrastructure from the comfort of your home office.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple solar energy projects from initiation to closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) partners, and external consultants.
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial targets are met and optimized.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, permits, and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.
• Proven track record of at least 7 years in project management, with a significant focus on renewable energy projects, specifically solar.
• Demonstrated experience in managing budgets, schedules, and stakeholder expectations for large-scale projects.
• Excellent understanding of solar technology, project development processes, and EPC contracts.
