Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Remote Solar Energy Project Manager to lead end-to-end solar initiatives from conception to closure. This fully remote role requires strong organization, leadership, and a deep understanding of PV technology to drive multiple projects on a global scale.

You will collaborate with distributed teams, stakeholders, and contractors, preparing detailed plans, budgets, and schedules while ensuring compliance and continuous improvement in project delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of proven project management experience in solar energy.
• Solid PV system design and installation knowledge.
• Experience with MS Project, Asana or Trello.
• PMP or equivalent certification is a strong asset.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote setup.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of solar energy projects from feasibility to commissioning.
• Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to meet objectives.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and develop contingency plans.

About the Role

Our client is a forward-thinking renewable energy company looking for a highly motivated and experienced Remote Solar Energy Project Manager. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of solar energy initiatives, from conception and planning through to execution and closure. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil), Environmental Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in project management, specifically within the solar energy industry.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-faceted projects from initiation to completion.
• Strong understanding of solar photovoltaic (PV) technology, system design, and installation requirements.
• Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello) and collaboration tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote setting.
• Familiarity with local and international solar market regulations and incentives.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is a strong asset.
• Self-disciplined and capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision.
