Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Remote Project Manager to oversee renewable energy infrastructure projects, including solar and wind facilities.

You will manage end-to-end project lifecycles, coordinate dispersed teams, and ensure safety, environmental and quality standards are met while driving cost control and successful delivery on a global scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• 8+ years of progressive project management experience in renewable energy projects.
• Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects and budgets.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project; experience with remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of renewable energy projects from initiation to completion.

About the Role

Our client, a global leader in sustainable energy solutions, is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Remote Project Manager to oversee critical renewable energy infrastructure projects. This role is fully remote, allowing you to contribute from anywhere. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of complex projects, including solar farms, wind energy installations, and related grid infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of renewable energy infrastructure projects from initiation to completion.
• Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate and manage geographically dispersed project teams, including engineers, contractors, and consultants.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout project execution.
• Effectively manage project budgets and control costs, providing regular financial reports and forecasts.
• Identify potential project risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, government agencies, and local communities.
• Oversee procurement processes, contract negotiations, and vendor management.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental), or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in project management, with a significant focus on renewable energy projects (solar, wind, etc.).
• Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably in the energy sector.
• Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, project lifecycles, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and experience managing remote teams.
• Ability to manage complex budgets and P&L responsibilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is required.
• Must be comfortable and effective working in a 100% remote capacity.
