You will lead cross-functional teams, manage EPC interfaces, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance in South Africa while delivering on schedule and within budget. A PMP/Agile background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing large-scale renewable energy projects (solar, wind).
• Knowledge of PMP or Agile methodologies.
• Experience with permitting processes and environmental regulations in South Africa.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Renewable Energy Project Manager to oversee the development and execution of solar and wind energy projects. Based in George, this role requires a blend of on-site supervision and remote coordination, offering a hybrid work model. You will be responsible for managing all project phases, from initial feasibility studies and permitting to construction, commissioning, and handover. This position is critical for expanding our client's clean energy portfolio and requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and a deep understanding of project management methodologies within the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of renewable energy projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) partners, as well as local authorities and stakeholders.
