Placements24 seeks a Senior Renewable Energy Project Manager to lead critical projects from conception to completion in Cape Town. You will drive feasibility studies, stakeholder engagement, regulatory compliance, and financial oversight to expand our client’s footprint in sustainable energy.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s in Engineering or Environmental Science, 7+ years PM experience (5+ in renewables), and a proven track record delivering large energy projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 7+ years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in renewable energy.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale energy projects from inception to close-out.
• Knowledge of PM methodologies (PMP, Agile) and risk management.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with South African energy policies and grid connection requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end management of renewable energy projects (solar, wind, hydro).
• Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and resources.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments.
• Manage relationships with investors, government agencies, suppliers, and communities.

Requirements
