Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Wind Energy Project Manager to lead wind farm projects from site assessment through commissioning with a fully remote team. You will drive planning, procurement, and stakeholder coordination across diverse geographies to deliver on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in renewable energy project management, a strong grasp of wind turbine technology, and proven leadership in remote environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) or related field.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management within renewable energy, with focus on wind energy projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage wind energy projects from inception to completion, ensuring scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
• Develop comprehensive project plans including resource allocation and risk management.
• Oversee procurement for turbines and construction services, negotiating contracts with suppliers and vendors.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external consultants, regulators, and community stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies for project success.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements throughout development and construction.
