Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Lead Wind Turbine Engineer to guide the design, analysis, and validation of next-generation wind turbine systems. This fully remote role leads a team of engineers and collaborates across manufacturing, supply chain, and operations from a global setting.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in wind turbine design with expertise in structural analysis, aerodynamics and dynamic modeling, using tools such as ANSYS, SolidWorks and HAWC2.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Mechanical, Aerospace or related field.
• 10+ years in wind turbine design and engineering with a track record of innovation.
• Expertise in structural analysis, aerodynamics and dynamic modeling of rotating machinery.
• Proficiency with ANSYS, SolidWorks, HAWC2 or similar tools.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage complex projects remotely.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and testing of wind turbine components for performance and reliability.
• Conduct aerodynamic, structural and dynamic analyses using advanced simulation tools.
• Oversee validation and certification processes for new turbine technologies.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain and operations in a remote setting.
