Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a motivated Energy Infrastructure Project Developer to join its fully remote team. You will identify, evaluate, and secure opportunities for renewable energy and grid modernization projects, conducting market research, building business cases, and engaging with landowners, regulators, and partners.

You will drive project development from inception toward financial close, coordinating with stakeholders and leveraging agile methods to deliver sustainable energy solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of energy/infrastructure project development experience.
• Proven track record in developing energy projects to completion.
• Strong knowledge of energy market, regulation, and project finance.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential sites and opportunities for new energy infrastructure projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies, market analysis, and financial modeling for project development.
• Negotiate land leases, permits, and interconnection agreements.
• Develop and present comprehensive business cases to secure project approvals and financing.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, community leaders, and regulatory authorities.
• Manage the early-stage development process, working towards financial close and project initiation.
