Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a visionary Renewable Energy Project Manager to lead groundbreaking projects from conception to completion. This fully remote role lets you shape the future of sustainable energy from anywhere in South Africa.

You will define scope, develop plans and budgets, coordinate with stakeholders, and mitigate risks while ensuring quality and on-time delivery across distributed teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in renewable energy projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, PM, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of PM methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with project management software and tools; remote/distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria with stakeholders.
• Develop and manage detailed plans, timelines, and budgets for renewable energy projects.
• Coordinate and manage all project activities, resources, and information.
• Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders, managing communications.
• Mitigate risks and implement contingency plans.
• Ensure quality assurance and adherence to best practices across teams nationwide.
