Job summary

Placements24 on behalf of a respected Oil & Gas operator seeks an experienced Remote Wellsite Geologist to support drilling operations. This fully remote role requires you to provide geological oversight and real-time analysis from a distant location, coordinating with onsite crews and the onshore team to ensure safe well construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology or related Earth Science.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Wellsite Geologist.
• Experience with real-time geological interpretation during drilling.
• Proficiency with geological software for well log analysis and correlation.
• Strong understanding of depositional environments, structural geology, and petroleum systems.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, remote environment.
• Experience with remote operational support and digital collaboration tools.
• Willingness to work irregular hours.
