Key Responsibilities

• Foster a positive and supportive volunteer community, maintaining regular communication and engagement.
• Develop and maintain volunteer databases and records, tracking hours, contributions, and feedback.
• Organize and promote volunteer appreciation events and initiatives.
• Collaborate with program staff to identify volunteer needs and match volunteers with appropriate opportunities.
• Develop and manage the volunteer program budget.
• Create and disseminate volunteer handbooks, guidelines, and other relevant materials.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the volunteer program and implement improvements based on feedback and data.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Non-profit Management, Human Resources, Social Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in volunteer management or a similar coordination role, preferably within the non-profit sector.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, and manage volunteers effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in using volunteer management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in developing and delivering online training materials is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting, with excellent time management skills.
• A strong understanding of the principles of volunteer engagement and motivation.
