Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Transport Operations Coordinator to manage remote transportation services, schedule drivers, and optimize routes. You will be the central contact for drivers and clients, resolving issues and ensuring on-time deliveries in a dynamic remote setting.

The role requires experience in transport operations or dispatch, familiarity with TMS and GPS tracking, and strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport operations or dispatch roles.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and GPS tracking technologies.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule daily transportation operations, including driver assignments and route planning.
• Monitor vehicle movements and shipment progress in real-time using dispatch software and tracking systems.
• Serve as the primary contact for drivers, providing support and addressing operational challenges.
• Communicate with clients regarding shipment status, ETA, and potential delays.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to minimize disruptions and ensure customer satisfaction.
