Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Remote Fleet Dispatcher & Coordinator to manage transportation logistics from a home-based setting. You will optimize routes, monitor fleet performance, and resolve logistical challenges in real-time, coordinating with drivers and clients to ensure timely deliveries.

The role requires proven experience in fleet dispatching or logistics, proficiency with TMS and GPS tracking, and strong communication skills for remote coordination.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fleet dispatching or logistics coordination.
• Proficiency with transportation management systems (TMS) and real-time GPS tracking technologies.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently with a high degree of self-discipline and organizational skills.
• Strong understanding of logistics operations and driver management principles.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch and coordinate drivers and vehicles for optimal route planning and delivery schedules.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, providing clear instructions and support.
• Monitor vehicle locations and shipment progress using advanced tracking and dispatch software.
• Proactively identify and resolve any logistical disruptions or issues that may impact delivery times.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, driver performance, and operational metrics.
