Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Remote Logistics Dispatcher to coordinate transportation operations from any location. You will manage drivers, optimize routes, and ensure efficient goods movement across regions with real-time monitoring and strong communication.

Ideal candidates have proven dispatch experience, solid knowledge of dispatch software and TMS, and excellent problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a logistics dispatcher, coordinator, or similar role.
Strong understanding of transportation management systems and dispatch software.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Proficiency with computers, including MS Office and various communication platforms.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and assign routes to a fleet of drivers using dispatch software.
Monitor driver progress and shipment status, providing real-time updates.
Optimize delivery routes to improve efficiency and reduce transit times.
Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and internal teams regarding logistics operations.
Troubleshoot and resolve any transportation issues or delays that may arise.
