Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Thermodynamics Engineer to join its fully remote team. You will analyze, simulate, and optimize energy systems, focusing on thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics across global projects.

The role emphasizes independent research, robust modeling using Python, MATLAB, Aspen Plus, and ANSYS Fluent, and collaboration with international teams. A strong academic background and 5+ years in energy-related thermodynamics are expected.

Qualifications

Master's or PhD in Mechanical Engineering with thermodynamics specialization.
5+ years of experience in thermodynamics, heat transfer and fluid dynamics.
Expertise with thermodynamic modeling tools and programming for simulations.
Strong communication for remote, distributed team collaboration.
Experience with renewable energy systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Analyze and model thermodynamic cycles for power generation, HVAC and refrigeration.
Perform heat transfer and fluid dynamics simulations to predict performance.
Develop thermodynamic models using Python, MATLAB and specialized software.
Collaborate with international teams to design and optimize energy systems.
conduct feasibility studies and evaluate new thermodynamic technologies.
Prepare detailed reports and ensure compliance with standards.
