Placements24 is seeking a Telecoms Customer Support Specialist to deliver remote assistance for internet, phone, and TV services. You will be the first point of contact, troubleshoot connectivity issues, guide users through self-help steps, and escalate complex cases when needed.

The role requires strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills, with experience in CRM and ticketing systems. It offers a fully remote setup supporting Limpopo and beyond.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or technical support, preferably in the telecoms industry.
• Strong understanding of common internet and telecommunications services and equipment.
• Excellent active listening and communication skills, with a patient and empathetic approach.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and ticketing systems.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced remote environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; further technical training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to internet connectivity, modem/router problems, and service disruptions.
• Guide customers through self-help solutions and basic technical procedures.
• Escalate complex issues to higher‑level technical support teams when necessary.
• Process service orders, account changes, and billing inquiries accurately.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and resolutions in the CRM system.
