Placements24 is seeking a Telecommunications Software Developer to join a fully remote engineering team. The role focuses on building scalable telecom software, with responsibilities spanning design, coding, testing, and deployment.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in software development, backend/microservices experience, and proficiency in C++, Java, Python, or Go. Cloud and container tech (AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes) are highly desirable for this pivotal role.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Proven experience in developing backend systems or microservices.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (C++, Java, Python, Go).
• Familiarity with telecommunications protocols (SIP, Diameter, RTP) is highly desirable.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for remote teamwork.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions for telecommunications systems.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in languages such as C++, Java, Python, or Go.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements.
• Develop and maintain APIs and services that integrate with telecom network elements.
• Implement unit, integration, and system tests to ensure reliability.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues, identifying root causes and fixes.
• Contribute to architectural design of new software systems and features.
• Stay updated with emerging software trends and telecommunications technologies.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
