Placements24 is seeking a Senior Telecoms Software Developer for a fully remote role in South Africa. You will design, code, test, and deploy scalable telecom software solutions, collaborating across product and engineering teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in software development, strong OO, experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker and Kubernetes, and distributed systems expertise. This remote position offers flexible hours, generous compensation, and growth opportunities

Formación

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of professional software development experience with telecoms focus.
Strong object-oriented programming, data structures and algorithms.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
Proven ability to design distributed systems and microservices architecture.
Excellent problem-solving and autonomous remote-work capability.

Responsabilidades

Design, develop, and maintain telecom software platforms using modern languages.
Build back-end services, APIs, and data pipelines for network management.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineers on specs.
Write clean, tested code and adhere to best practices.
Troubleshoot defects and performance issues in production.
Contribute to architecture discussions for scalable projects.
