Jobgether is seeking a System Administrator I for a partner company based in South Africa to deliver reliable IT support in a remote-first environment. You will troubleshoot issues across Windows/macOS, manage Windows Server environments, and support Microsoft 365/Azure/Entra ID while maintaining secure, resilient client systems.

The role emphasizes on-call rotations, professional development, and collaborative teamwork in a service-oriented setting.

Qualifikationen

• Three+ years of professional IT support or systems administration experience.
• Hands-on troubleshooting in Windows and macOS environments.
• Windows Server 2016–2025 administration experience and virtualization know‑how.
• Experience with VMware/Hyper‑V virtualization and cloud/Identity services (Azure, Entra/Azure AD).
• Strong networking, security, and Office applications support skills.
• MSP experience and server‑related certifications are a plus.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting across Windows/macOS platforms.
• Manage server environments running Windows Server 2016–2025.
• Administer Microsoft 365 and cloud services; support Entra ID, Azure, and AD.
• Maintain virtualization environments with VMware and Hyper-V.
• Support business applications including Sage ERP and QuickBooks; liaise with vendors as needed.
• Troubleshoot networking issues involving firewalls and switches.
• Protect systems with endpoint security tools and backup solutions.
• Assist and guide technicians; escalate complex issues as needed.
• Deliver excellent client service with clear communication and documentation.
• Meet service performance targets (CSAT, quality scores, first-touch resolution).
• Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours/weekend support.
• Maintain readiness through training and certifications.
