IP House is seeking an IT Administrator to support a distributed workforce across time zones from our Cape Town office. You will partner with an MSP, manage the Microsoft 365 environment, Entra ID, Intune, and end-user devices, and handle security and compliance tasks.

Day-to-day duties include onboarding/offboarding, license management, hardware procurement, and maintaining IT policies. On-site work in Cape Town is required, with occasional after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of IT administration experience, ideally supporting a distributed workforce.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune; proficiency with Windows and macOS.

Responsabilités

• Own onboarding and offboarding with HR, coordinating accounts and equipment across time zones.
• Serve as escalation point for MSP and ensure agreed service levels.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, MFA, SSO, and access controls.
• Manage Windows and macOS devices and shared IT resources.
• Procure, deploy, inventory, and retire hardware; manage warranties.
• Monitor security alerts and apply best practices to protect data.
• Maintain IT policies, documentation, and compliance evidence.
• Identify opportunities to standardize IT processes and improve spend.
• Manage licenses, subscriptions, and vendor relations.
