Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a data-driven Supply Chain Analyst to optimize our client's logistics and operational frameworks. This remote role, based anywhere in South Africa, focuses on turning complex data into actionable insights to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

You will develop dashboards, analyze KPIs, and collaborate with procurement, operations, and sales to align strategies with business objectives. A strong analytical toolkit and experience with Excel, SQL and Power BI are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or related analytical field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Supply Chain Analyst role or similar analytical function.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple remote projects.

Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for cost reduction.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs across the supply chain.
• Provide recommendations for inventory management, demand forecasting, and network optimization.
• Collaborate with procurement, operations, and sales teams to align supply chain strategies with business objectives.
• Support the implementation of new supply chain technologies and process improvements.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.
