Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join a fully remote team. You will analyze data across logistics, inventory, transportation, and warehousing to identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities for a diverse client base from anywhere in Cape Town or beyond.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least three years of experience, with strong Excel, SQL, and BI tools (Tableau/Power BI).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field.
• Minimum 3 years in supply chain analysis, logistics, or operations.
• Proficiency with Excel, SQL and BI tools.
• Strong communication and data presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify bottlenecks and cost-saving opportunities across supply chain areas.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports on KPIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses for initiatives and projects.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in logistics tech.
• Support development of new supply chain strategies and policies.
