Job summary

Placements24 in South Africa is seeking a proactive Remote Supply Chain Analyst to optimize inventory, logistics, and processes from home. You will collect and analyze data, identify trends, and provide insights to improve efficiency and reduce costs across the Mpumalanga region and beyond.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's in SCM, Logistics, or related field, with at least 3 years of analytics experience and proficiency in Excel, SQL, Tableau or Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain analysis or a related role.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau/Power BI).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and supply chain planning software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data including inventory levels, lead times, and transportation costs.
• Develop reports and dashboards to track KPIs and identify improvement areas.
• Identify opportunities to optimize inventory management and reduce carrying costs.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Assist in forecasting demand and developing supply chain strategies.
