Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their team on a fully remote basis, supporting global logistics from a home office in the Port Elizabeth area.

You will analyze data to identify trends, forecast demand, and recommend improvements across procurement, planning, transportation and warehousing, using Excel, SQL and BI tools. A Bachelor's degree and 2+ years’ experience are required, with strong communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in supply chain analysis or a similar analytical role.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and BI tools (Tableau/Power BI).
• Ability to work independently and manage projects in a remote environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop demand forecasts and work with planning teams to ensure optimal inventory levels.
• Evaluate and improve logistics, transportation, and warehousing processes.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on supply chain performance metrics.
• Collaborate with procurement, operations, and sales to implement supply chain initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs and provide insights to drive strategic decisions.
