Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Supply Chain Analyst to optimize the flow of goods and drive cost reductions in a remote setting. You will analyze complex datasets, develop actionable strategies, and support strategic decision-making for a globally distributed logistics team.

The role requires strong proficiency in Excel, SQL and BI tools, with experience in forecasting, inventory planning and KPI development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration.
• Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or similar analytical role in logistics.
• Strong data analysis skills using Excel, SQL and BI platforms (Tableau/Power BI).
• Solid understanding of inventory management, transportation logistics and supply chain concepts.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication abilities in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks and cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards to track performance across the supply chain.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to implement process improvements.
• Conduct demand forecasting and inventory planning to optimize stock levels.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations for management with actionable recommendations.
