Placements24 is seeking a specialized Structural Civil Engineer to join our team remotely, supporting marine and coastal infrastructure projects in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. You will lead structural analysis, detailing, and design for wharves, breakwaters and associated facilities, while coordinating with international consultants and on-site teams.
The ideal candidate has a Master's in Civil/Structural Engineering with 7+ years' coastal/marine experience, and proficiency in STAAD.Pro,
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 7+ years of coastal/marine structural engineering experience.
- Proficiency in STAAD.Pro, SAP2000 and CAD tools.
- Strong remote collaboration and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for marine and coastal projects.
- Develop detailed drawings, specifications and calculations for wharves and breakwaters.
- Conduct remote site investigations and feedback to field teams.
- Ensure designs comply with codes and environmental regulations for coastal zones.
- Coordinate with project managers and other disciplines.
