Job summary

Placements24 invites a seasoned Structural Engineer to join a Richards Bay based engineering firm working on coastal and marine infrastructure. You will design and analyze structures, ensuring resilience against coastal environmental factors and wind loads.

The role requires a BEng or BSc in Structural Engineering with at least 5 years of design experience; Pr. Eng registration or eligibility is preferred. Collaboration with PMs, architects, and contractors is essential.

Qualifications

• BEng or BSc in Structural Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in structural design and analysis.
• Pr. Eng registration or eligibility preferred.
• Experience with coastal engineering challenges including corrosion and wind loads.
• Proficiency with SAP2000, ETABS, and Revit Structure.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for marine and coastal projects.
• Develop detailed structural drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for various building types and infrastructure, including marine structures.
