Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Chemical Process Development Engineer to drive groundbreaking R&D efforts remotely. You will lead concept design, pilot-scale validation, and tech transfer from concept to scale, focusing on efficiency, sustainability and commercial viability.
The role requires a PhD or MSc in Chemical Engineering with 8+ years in process development, modeling and data analysis.
Qualifications
- PhD or MSc in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- 8+ years in process development, scale-up and technology transfer, preferably remote.
- Strong experience in experimental design, process modeling and data analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication for remote collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptual design and development of novel chemical processes with focus on scalability and economics.
- Conduct pilot plant studies to validate designs, optimize parameters and generate performance data.
- Develop and refine process models and simulations to predict performance and identify critical control points.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, feasibility studies and scale-up recommendations.
- Collaborate with remote R&D, engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure successful technology transfer.
- Ensure all activities comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
