Qualifications

• PhD or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• 5+ years in chemical process R&D with a focus on scale-up.
• Proficiency in process modeling and simulation tools.
• Ability to conduct independent research and present complex technical information clearly.
• Experience working in a remote work environment and using collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and scale-up of novel chemical processes from conceptualization to pilot plant stages.
• Conduct thorough research into new materials, reaction pathways, and separation technologies.
• Utilize process simulation software to optimize reaction conditions and plant design.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and design documents for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with virtual teams, including R&D scientists and external partners.
• Ensure all process designs comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
