About the Role

Our client, a reputable recruitment consultancy, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Remote Specialist Recruitment Consultant focusing on the healthcare sector. This role is fully remote, serving clients nationally, with a strategic importance tied to the Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape region. You will be instrumental in identifying, attracting, and placing highly skilled healthcare professionals, ranging from nurses and allied health professionals to specialized medical practitioners. Operating in a remote capacity, you will leverage your understanding of the healthcare landscape and your networking abilities to build strong relationships with both candidates and clients. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for healthcare professionals, from initial client consultation to successful placement.
• Source qualified candidates through various channels, including professional networks, healthcare-specific job boards, and industry events (virtual or in-person where applicable).
• Conduct thorough interviews and screening processes to assess candidates' clinical skills, experience, qualifications, and suitability for specific roles and environments.
• Develop a deep understanding of the healthcare market in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape and surrounding areas, including regulatory requirements and staffing trends.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare facilities, hospitals, clinics, and private practices.
• Provide market insights and expert advice to clients on recruitment strategies and talent availability.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare industry regulations and recruitment best practices.
• Negotiate employment offers and facilitate the onboarding process for placed candidates.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of recruitment experience, with a significant focus on the healthcare sector, preferably with an understanding of the Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape market.
• Proven track record of successfully placing healthcare professionals in various roles.
• Strong knowledge of the healthcare industry, including different specializations and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent interviewing, assessment, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using recruitment software and online sourcing tools.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage a busy workload effectively in a remote environment.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Healthcare, Human Resources, or Business is preferred.
