Placements24 is seeking a Remote Solar Energy Systems Analyst to join a global, fully remote team. You will analyze performance data from solar installations, develop models to predict energy output, and evaluate ROI for proposed projects.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 3–5 years of solar energy analysis experience, with strong data analysis skills and proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and PVsyst.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Environmental) or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in solar energy analysis or similar role.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python, PVsyst).
• Understanding of solar PV technology, grid integration, and energy markets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly.

Responsibilities

• Analyze performance data from various solar energy installations, identifying trends and anomalies.
• Develop models to predict energy output and optimize system design for maximum efficiency.
• Evaluate the financial viability and return on investment for proposed solar projects.
• Conduct research on new solar technologies and industry best practices.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders on system performance and project recommendations.
