Placements24 is seeking a Solar PV System Designer & Analyst to work remotely within South Africa. You will design PV systems for varied scales, using PVSyst, Helioscope, and AutoCAD to model irradiance, energy yield, and financials.

The role requires 5+ years in PV design, strong technical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams while delivering high-quality, compliant designs.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in designing solar PV systems.
• Proficiency with PVSyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD or similar software.
• Strong understanding of PV technologies, inverters, storage, and grid interconnection.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple designs and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional communication skills in a virtual setting; self-disciplined and able to work independently.
• Dedicated home office setup with reliable high-speed internet.

Mansioni

• Design and engineer solar PV systems for residential, commercial, and utility-scale projects.
