Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years designing solar PV systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, PVSyst, Helioscope or similar.
• Knowledge of SA electrical regulations and grid connections.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed solar PV system designs including single-line diagrams and layouts.
• Perform site assessments and analyze electrical plans, shading reports, and structures.
• Calculate energy production estimates and system performance with software.
• Ensure designs comply with electrical codes and client specs.
• Prepare design reports and bill of materials.
