Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
- 5+ years in renewable energy project development, solar.
- Experience in site acquisition, permitting, and contracts.
- Strong understanding of solar tech, economics, and markets.
- Excellent networking, communication and remote work ability.
- Proficient in project management and organization.
Responsibilities
- Identify and secure sites for solar plant development and conduct feasibility.
- Build relationships with landowners, authorities, stakeholders.
- Manage permitting and regulatory approvals for solar projects.
- Negotiate and finalize land leases, interconnection, PPAs.
- Collaborate remotely with EPC teams to ensure viability and execution.
- Analyze markets to identify opportunities and competitive landscapes.
