Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in design/engineering of solar PV systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical principles, interconnection standards, and SA energy policies.
- Excellent remote collaboration and communication abilities.
Responsibilities
- Design and engineer robust PV systems including site assessments, sizing, and layout.
- Develop detailed technical specs, schematics, and performance simulations.
- Conduct feasibility studies and due diligence for solar installations to ensure compliance.
- Provide remote technical support and troubleshoot existing systems.
- Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and installation partners to ensure successful delivery and commissioning.
- Stay updated on solar tech, storage, and grid integration to propose innovative solutions.
