Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Solar Project Manager to lead a remote project execution team. You will manage end-to-end solar projects from planning through handover, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with high quality. The role requires strong leadership and expertise in PV systems and interconnection processes.

The position is fully remote and demands excellent organizational skills to coordinate distributed teams and stakeholders in the renewable energy landscape.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in renewable energy or construction.

About the Role

Our client is looking for a seasoned and results-oriented Solar Project Manager to lead their remote project execution team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of solar energy projects, from initial planning and design through to construction, commissioning, and handover. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a fully remote position that requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of the renewable energy landscape, particularly solar photovoltaic systems, enabling you to effectively manage distributed teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of solar project lifecycle, including feasibility studies, permitting, design, procurement, construction, and close-out.


• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.


• Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, construction) and external stakeholders (clients, suppliers, regulatory bodies).


• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and contractual obligations.


• Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing challenges to ensure successful project delivery.


• Manage project documentation, reporting progress, and communicating status updates to senior leadership and clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.


• 5+ years of experience in project management within the renewable energy or construction industry, with a focus on solar projects.


• Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex solar projects on time and within budget.
