The role emphasizes remote collaboration, ethical record-keeping, and coordination with external agencies to deliver holistic support and improve social well-being across communities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work and active registration in South Africa.
• Proven experience in case management, counseling and client advocacy.
• Experience delivering services remotely or virtually.
• Proficiency with virtual communication tools and EHR systems.
• Strong knowledge of social welfare policies and relevant legislation.
• Excellent communication, empathy and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of client needs and factors affecting wellbeing.
• Provide individual and group counseling and coping support.
• Develop service plans and coordinate with external resources.
• Advocate for clients' rights and access to services.
• Maintain confidential records and document outcomes ethically.
• Collaborate remotely with a multidisciplinary team for holistic care.
