Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Social Worker to deliver high-quality services from a virtual setting. You will conduct assessments, provide counseling, and navigate resources for individuals and families entirely online from George or other approved locations.

In this role you will manage a caseload, collaborate with a virtual team and external agencies, and maintain confidential electronic records.

Qualifications

• MSW or equivalent and current SACSSP registration.
• 0
• Minimum 3 years of professional social work with remote/telehealth experience.
• Proficiency with virtual tools, electronic health records, and case management software.
• Strong communication, listening and empathy for virtual care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual social assessments via video conferencing and phone calls.
• Provide remote counseling and emotional support to clients addressing diverse social issues.
• Develop and manage caseloads, coordinating services and interventions digitally.
• Facilitate online referrals to community resources and support services.
• Maintain detailed and confidential electronic client records and progress reports.
• Collaborate with virtual team members and external agencies to ensure comprehensive client care.
