Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Social Auxiliary Worker for a remote-first role serving Welkom and surrounding areas. You will assist in assessments, provide psycho-social support, and help clients access community resources, all from a remote setting across the Free State.

You will coordinate with social workers, maintain records, and use virtual platforms to monitor progress and communicate with clients regularly.

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Auxiliary Worker with SACSSP registration.
• Experience in social work or community support roles preferred.
• Proficient with virtual communication platforms and digital records.

Responsibilities

• Assist social workers in client assessments and information gathering.
• Provide direct support and counseling under supervision.
• Facilitate referrals to community services and access resources.
• Maintain confidential client records and documentation.
