Job summary

RWS is seeking AI Conversation Recording Contributors to support a Setswana speech data collection project. This freelance, work-from-home role offers flexible, task-based work (about 2–4 hours daily) with immediate start.

You will record natural speech, annotate data, and provide metadata to help evaluate and improve speech recognition technologies. Prior experience helps but is not required.

Qualifications

• Native Setswana fluency with authentic pronunciation.
• Strong English understanding of written instructions.
• Experience with speech recording or data annotation is a plus.
• Ability to follow project guidelines and metadata requirements.

Responsibilities

• Record or collect natural, spontaneous speech according to project guidelines.
• Capture speech from approved real-life situations, such as workplace conversations.
• Complete conversational speech tasks or interact with AI/machine systems.
• Annotate collected speech data per instructions.
• Provide metadata and responses for each recording.
