About the Role

Our client is seeking a specialized Senior Civil Engineer with expertise in Water Resources to join their team in Vereeniging. This hybrid role requires a blend of remote work for analysis and design and on-site engagement for project coordination and site supervision. You will lead the planning, design, and implementation of water-related infrastructure projects, including supply systems, wastewater treatment, and stormwater management. This position is ideal for an experienced engineer passionate about sustainable water management and looking to make a significant impact on regional infrastructure development. Key Responsibilities

Lead the conceptualization, design, and implementation of water supply, wastewater, and stormwater management systems. Conduct hydraulic modeling and analysis for water networks and treatment processes. Prepare comprehensive design reports, technical specifications, and tender documents for water infrastructure projects. Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring timely and cost-effective project completion. Oversee site construction activities and ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards. Collaborate with regulatory bodies, clients, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.

Requirements

Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Water Resources or Environmental Engineering. Minimum of 8 years of experience in water resource engineering and infrastructure design. Proficiency in relevant hydraulic modeling software (e.g., EPANET, WaterGEMS) and CAD tools. Strong understanding of water treatment processes, distribution networks, and environmental regulations.
