Placements24 is seeking a Senior Transportation Engineer to lead transport projects from a remote setup with occasional travel to project sites, including Soweto, Gauteng. You will drive planning, design, and implementation of sustainable mobility solutions while mentoring junior engineers. You should bring a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Pr.

Eng. with ECSA, and at least 7 years in transportation engineering and planning, plus proficiency in traffic analysis tools.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Professional registration with ECSA as a Pr. Eng. is required.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in transportation engineering and planning.
• Experience with traffic analysis and modeling software (Vissim, TransCAD, SIDRA) is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development of transportation plans, traffic studies, and intersection designs.
• Analyze traffic data, model traffic flow, and propose solutions for congestion and safety.
• Design road infrastructure including highways, urban streets and public transport facilities.
• Prepare detailed reports, drawings, and specifications for projects.
• Collaborate with authorities and stakeholders to meet objectives and mentor junior engineers.
