Qualifications

• Significant proven experience as a Senior Technical Support Specialist or similar advanced IT support role.
• In-depth knowledge of operating systems (Windows Server, Linux), networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and security principles.
• Expertise in troubleshooting complex hardware and software issues.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper‑V) is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with users at all levels.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level technical support to end-users, addressing complex hardware, software, and network issues remotely.
• Diagnose and resolve challenging technical problems, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Develop and implement solutions to recurring technical issues, improving system reliability.
• Mentor and guide junior technical support staff, fostering their development.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including guides and knowledge base articles.
• Proactively monitor IT systems for performance issues and potential threats.
• Collaborate with IT management and other teams on system upgrades and new technology implementations.
