Placements24 is seeking a Senior Subsurface Geologist for a fully remote role. You will analyze seismic data, build integrated geological models, and identify hydrocarbon prospects while collaborating across time zones.

The ideal candidate has 9+ years' Oil & Gas subsurface experience, expertise in seismic interpretation, and proficient use of Petrel and Kingdom Suite. Strong communication and mentoring skills are essential.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Geology or related Earth Science discipline.
• Minimum of 9 years of progressive experience in exploration or subsurface geology in Oil & Gas.
• Proven seismic interpretation, well log analysis and geological modeling skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform geological interpretations of seismic, well logs, and cores.
• Develop subsurface models including structural and stratigraphic frameworks.
• Identify hydrocarbon prospects and assess geological risk and uncertainty.
• Conduct basin analyses and regional studies.
• Collaborate with geophysicists, reservoir engineers, and petrophysicists on integrated studies.
• Utilize advanced geological software for data analysis and presentation.
• Prepare reports, maps, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Contribute to exploration strategies and field development plans.
• Mentor junior geologists and share expertise remotely.
