Placements24 is seeking a Senior Reservoir Geologist to lead a fully remote analytics team focused on subsurface reservoirs. You will drive modeling, interpretation, and data integration to influence exploration and production strategies.

The role requires 8+ years in reservoir geology, proficiency in Petrel, GeoGraphix, and DecisionSpace, and a strong earth-science background. Remote work flexibility and collaboration with global geoscientists are central to this position.

Formación

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in reservoir geology and geological modeling.
• Strong understanding of sedimentology, stratigraphy, and structural geology in relation to hydrocarbon systems.
• Experience with data analysis and interpretation from various subsurface sources.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and refine 3D geological models based on well logs, core data, seismic interpretations, and other subsurface information.
• Integrate diverse geological datasets to characterize reservoir properties, including lithology, porosity, and permeability.
• Conduct reservoir quality analysis and uncertainty assessments to support exploration and development decisions.
• Utilize advanced analytical techniques and software for reservoir characterization and performance evaluation.
• Collaborate closely with reservoir engineers and geophysicists to ensure integrated subsurface interpretations.
• Mentor junior geologists and contribute to the development of best practices in geological modeling and analysis.
