The role requires 8+ years in subsurface geology, proficiency in seismic interpretation, and experience with Petrel, Kingdom Suite, or GeoGraphix in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Geology, Geophysics, or related Earth Science field.
• 8+ years of subsurface geology experience focused on exploration and asset characterisation in oil & gas.
• Experience in seismic interpretation (2D/3D) and well log analysis.
• Proficiency with geological modelling software (Petrel, Kingdom Suite, GeoGraphix).

Responsibilities

• Interpret seismic, well log, and core data to build integrated subsurface geological models.
• Identify and evaluate hydrocarbon plays and prospects for exploration and appraisal drilling.
• Collaborate with reservoir engineers, geophysicists, and other disciplines to de-risk prospects and define development strategies.
• Construct geological maps and cross-section to understand stratigraphy, structure, and depositional environments.
• Estimate hydrocarbon volumes and uncertainties for reserves reporting and economic evaluations.
• Mentor junior geologists in a remote setting.
