Placements24 is seeking a Senior Geoscientist for a dynamic Oil & Gas team. The role offers remote or hybrid work arrangements and focuses on interpreting seismic, well data, and geological information to build subsurface models and assess hydrocarbon potential.

You will collaborate with engineers and geoscientists, apply advanced interpretation techniques, and contribute to exploration strategies with emphasis on delivering technical reports and actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Geophysics, Geology, or related Earth Science.
• 8+ years in geophysical interpretation and subsurface characterization in Oil & Gas.
• Proficiency with Petrel, Kingdom Suite, IHS Markit.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and integrate seismic, well log, and geological data to build subsurface models.
• Identify and evaluate hydrocarbon plays and quantify risks.
• Utilize seismic attributes and interpretation techniques to delineate reservoirs and understand structural complexities.
• Collaborate with reservoir and production engineers, and other geoscientists to support exploration and development.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and maps for management and partnership reviews.
• Contribute to development and application of new interpretation technologies and workflows.
